She is the communication and marketing specialist at RIVANNA with proven expertise in developing and executing results-driven campaigns in the medical device industry. Vicki holds a Bachelor of Arts in commercial design with a minor in business administration. Dixon holds a doctorate in biomedical engineering from the University of Virginia and an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from Duke University. Dixon’s technical leadership, every SBIR granted to RIVANNA has resulted in successful commercialization of multiple products and/or significant follow-on funding to support product development. He has led technology development and clinical translation programs at GE Healthcare and RIVANNA, having commercialized advanced image processing technologies on multiple imaging platforms, including RIVANNA’s Accuro (ultrasound), GE’s Logiq E9 (ultrasound), GE’s Lightspeed 750HD (computed tomography), and GE’s Precision 180 (fluoroscopy). Dixon is a results-driven technical leader with a proven track record of successful technology development, clinical translation, and commercialization within the medical device sector.
